Usability engineering and IEC 62366-1

What is the course about? The course teaches the practical basics of usability engineering for medical devices in accordance with IEC 62366-1. Depending on the desired learning format, the course can be completed as a pure online course, with lifelong access or as a blended learning variant with additional virtual classroom sessions.

How long does the course take? The average completion time is between approx. 8 and 29 hours, depending on the chosen format. The course comprises a total of 4.5 hours of video material, 34 quizzes and a final test.

Is the course CPD accredited? Yes, the course is CPD-accredited and comprises – depending on the course format – up to 23 CPD points.

Medical Device HQ
Medical Device HQ is an international training platform for MedTech, IVD and Digital Health with a focus on regulatory requirements, standards and processes along the entire development cycle of medical devices.
